BIOGRAPHY

 
Dr. Yves Dauvilliers, MD, PhD is a Professor of Neurology and Physiology at the University of Montpellier, France, and Head of the clinical and research activity of the sleep laboratory. He is the Coordinator of the French National Reference Network for Orphan Diseases, specializing in Narcolepsy, Hypersomnia, and Kleine-Levin Syndrome. Additionally, he is the Director of a research group at the Institute of Neuroscience INSERM in Montpellier. 

Dr. Dauvilliers serves as the President of the European Narcolepsy Network, Vice-President of the French Sleep Medical and Research Society (SFRMS), and a past Vice-President of the European Restless Legs Syndrome association. He is also a member of the Académie Nationale de Médecine (France). 

He has authored or co-authored over 555 papers published in international and national peer-reviewed journals, several book chapters, and has edited three French books on sleep medicine. His H-index is 79.
