Dr. Carlos María Franceschini, MD is a highly experienced physician specializing in Intensive Care, Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, and Sleep Medicine. He holds a medical degree from Universidad del Salvador and is accredited in Sleep Medicine by the Argentine Association of Sleep Medicine (AAMS).

Dr. Franceschini is the Medical Director at CESyR – Center for Sleep and Breathing Studies and Head of the Sleep and Mechanical Ventilation Unit at Hospital Cosme Argerich, where he has been instrumental in advancing sleep and respiratory care. He is actively involved in leading scientific societies, including the Argentine Association of Respiratory Medicine (AAMR), the Latin American Thoracic Association (ALAT), and the European Respiratory Society (ERS), where he participates in long-term strategic planning.

A dedicated educator and researcher, Dr. Franceschini has contributed extensively to the field through academic teaching, leadership in medical organizations, and numerous publications on sleep-disordered breathing, mechanical ventilation, and respiratory care.
