Dr. Patricia Franco is a Professor of Physiology and Pediatrics at the University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and Head of the Pediatric Sleep Unit at the Women and Children’s Hospital in Lyon, France.
With over 20 years of experience, her research focuses on pediatric sleep physiology and pathophysiology, including arousal mechanisms, narcolepsy, obstructive sleep apnea and sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). She has directed 17 PhD theses and published over 500 scientific articles, with an H-index of 51.
Dr. Franco is also an invited speaker at international conferences and has received numerous awards, including the Annenberg Award and the Barry Fisher Memorial Lecture recognition.
